[BoulderCouncilHotline] No further support for a referred assault weapon measure and more assembled gun violence information

Fellow Council Members and HOTLINE followers,

For reasons that I will discuss further on May 1, I am no longer going to advocate for a vote in November regarding an assault weapons ban and other possible gun violence measures.  I am providing this information now so the public is aware of my changed position, and can let us hear their thoughts accordingly.

In addition, the link below provides additional information on gun violence in the US, and references studies which cover the US and most other countries in the world with over 10,000,000 residents.
