Subject: Proclamation thanking City staff 




Colleagues:  I would like to propose that we offer a Proclamation of Appreciation to all City staff for their extraordinary performance in rescue, recovery and rebuilding during and following the recent flood event.  I would invite your opinion about
 this idea and when is the best time to present this.  As I understand Council's calendar, the last business meeting other than for election certification, is October 29.  That may be a good date for this if a majority favor this idea and CAC agrees.
