[BoulderCouncilHotline] Hill revitalization working group

Dear colleagues and Hotline readers,

This week, we will be looking at council members’ committee assignments. The two of us are currently the council liaisons to the Hill Revitalization Working Group<https://bouldercolorado.gov/hill-revitalization-working-group-hrwg> (“HRWG”). HRWG moved earlier this year to a format where council members attend work group meetings only quarterly, which has felt disjointed for us. Additionally, much of the focus of the group is now “in flight,” and it’s not clear to us that it continues to be a valuable use of anyone’s time for council members to continue to attend these meetings. Staff who support this group appear to be in agreement, therefore we propose the step down of HRWG off the Council Committee list (thereby eliminating any council liaisons to HRWG).
