Dear Colleagues and Community,

One of the ideas I’ve included for retreat discussion is a tax on second homes. Below, an excerpt from a recent Colorado Public Radio article. It’s a brief article.

“A fee or tax on empty homes could be effective, Lawson said, because it specifically targets one of the root causes of the affordable housing problem.”
