Subject: Utrecht bicycling video

A friend sent me this message and link which I thought might be enjoyably instructive for Boulder. I had the good fortune to visit Utrecht over the Christmas holidays and see the ongoing efforts and results.  Where did they get the money to build it?

Thought people might enjoy this 13 minute video about how Utrecht is a world leader in bicycle infrastructure. It's pretty amazing what they've done and all the benefits it brings, including reducing air and noise pollution, making the city center a successful shopping area, and giving children more freedom and independence. I really think a Boulder/Utrecht sister city relationship would be a great thing!
