Hi Lisa,
Thanks for the question.
A new 5' detached sidewalk will be constructed on the north side of Vine St. between 19th and 22nd.

As you noted, the property at 2020 Violet opted not to annex into the city. Therefore, we don't have the necessary public right-of-way or easements required to construct a sidewalk for the width of the unannexed property. That particular length of sidewalk would be constructed upon annexation into the city. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions.
Best,
Charles

Subject: Vine st item 3L

Hi Charles

At our council meeting a couple weeks ago, I asked if there was a continuous sidewalk along the north side of the newly constructed (in progress) Vine St between 19 and 22nd streets, to which you answered, I believe, in the affirmative. Is that correct? What happens to the sidewalk along the north side of Vine on the property on Violet that has chosen not to annex? Is there a sidewalk along that segment?

Thanks

Lisa
