Council,

Tonight council will consider the second reading of an annexation of 2220 Norwood. Some comments:

1. The current lot is 38,000 sq ft. with a proposed initial zoning designation of RE which would allow for a subdivision of two lots (I’m fine with that).

 2. The county assessor has this lot at 44, 985 sq ft with is 1.03 acres—why is there a discrepancy? I learned the discrepancy has to do with ROW/street improvements with Norwood in the late '90's so I am assuming the 38,200 sq ft is correct and with ER, this lot can be subdivided into 2 ER lots

 3. what would be the maximum square footage of the structures with compatible development regulations; what would be the maximum lot coverage?

4. Given that these are ER lots, does council want to put size restrictions more than compatible regulations would allow?

Lisa
