At the risk of having a dreaded "conversation," albeit only about scheduling, I think it would might be best, under the rather unusual circumstances, to indeed spread this out over 3 nights (but to be absolutely certain to finish each component as scheduled). We obviously have a full SS scheduled for the 24th, however. I never quite understood why we scratched the 31st long before we knew whether we'd need it or not...but now it would be quite handy. So I'd propose that we meet on the 31st -- starting at, say, 8pm or so to deal with the apparent issue for some of us -- either to finish up HP or to handle the two key transportation items that are now set for the 24th (and that I'd like to be part of if possible). Thursday, Nov. 2 would also be possible, even for council candidates.

Subject: Proposal for Hogan Pancost hearing

Hi Council Agenda Committee,

Last Tuesday night I loosely proposed a format for the Hogan Pancost hearing. Here it is in written form:
10/10 Community, applicant and staff presentations in each category + council question then continue the hearing
10/17 Hold the public hearing
10/24 Deliberations

Holding the public hearing on one night starting at 6 is respectful of the public. I hope you will consider this proposal.
