Subject: Boulder County action on FLAP
This morning our County Commissioners voted to approve a resolution for conditional participation in the FLAP grant proposal.  The conditions are much like the City of Boulders,  including soil sampling at both FLAP grant sites and an IGA among the entities. Two Commissioners supported the resolution and one opposed.  In addition, all three approved a letter to USFWS requesting sampling on the Refuge and a few other specific requests, as well as a letter to the RMG steering committee to identify a seperate trail alignment option that does not bisect the Refuge.

Documents are yet to be signed and finalized, but I will send as soon as they are fully executed. I'm heading out of town for a family issue but will be checking email regularily.
