Dear City Council members,

At the June 20th Council Agenda Committee (CAC) the topic of Planning Board member Leonard May's test design of Form-Based Code (FBC) was raised. It was requested by several council members that the design be forwarded to City Council for review. Snap shots of the prepared design, which was intended to test what a worst case scenario under the FBC might look like, are attached to this message. The site in question is the industrial property just north of Goose Creek just east of 30th Street and immediately south of the Steel Yards neighborhood.  Staff will be happy to answer any questions regarding the FBC test at the public hearing this evening.
