After receiving feedback subsequent to submission of the first reading packet, City Attorney's Office has prepared an alternate to Ordinance 8122, amending section 12-2-4, "Written Disclosures Required," B.R.C. 1981. The attached alternate first reading ordinance proposes a new subsection (2) that states:

(2) Notwithstanding the requirements of subsection (a)(1) of this section, any operator may prohibit conduct that is otherwise permitted by law, including but not limited to prohibiting the use or possession of marijuana on the premises.

Copies of the proposed alternate amendment will be on the dais tomorrow, Tuesday, night, June 7, 2016.
