[bouldercouncilhotline] Hotline: Potential amendments for short term rentals

At CAC, there was a discussion of potential amendments for the short term rentals ordinance. 

 
The proposed ordinances prepared for tonight may not adequately reflect Council’s intention with respect to rentals.  I understand that Council’s intention was that Accessory Units in detached structures on non-owner occupied units would be subject to inspection.  I have attached draft amendments that would address this concern.
 
In addition, the Mayor raised the question whether the city should have the name and address of a designated agent.  I have also attached a draft amendment to impose this requirement.
