In the interest of obtaining public feedback on the Chautauqua lease earlier on in the process, I would like to have an open comment period at the beginning of the meeting to provide this opportunity.

I would also be open to any other procedural technique to allow for public comment on this issue.

Thank you.

When the packet was sent out last week, the plan had been for this to be a public hearing (which is why it shows up that way in your packet), but at CAC the decision was made to move this to matters from mayor and members since this is a report from the council subcommittee. I understand that this will move forward to a joint Board meeting and back to council at a future date.
