>From my work on WRAB, I remember that generally, when a building is required to have sprinklers, it must have a larger tap size to assure sufficient water pressure and volume to run the sprinkler system. Is this the case, and if so, what would it add to
the cost for single family homes? Our "tap fee" for water service is based on tap size.
I would also be curious to know, if the information is readily available, how many single family homes in Boulder burn per year, on average.
