Here is an article on MJ use in California, with relevant comments from a University of Colorado researcher in a paper shortly to be published in the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management. Research in California is consistent with what we have seen in Colorado:
 mainly, that the increasing availability of MJ legally to adults has not led to an increase in use by youth.
