Regarding last night's agenda item 3B, I had the following questions and comments:
 
1) Could additional information be provided about the nature of Education Excise Tax Grants?  How are they funded, for what purpose are the grants awarded, and who administers these programs? (Page 14 of Agenda Item 3B)
 
2) Public Works - 2013 Flood Response/Impact Expenses (Page 29 of Agenda Item 3B).  There is an error in the dollar amount being reported: "$1,00,000".  This needs corrected for next reading.
 
3) There is a budgeted amount of $30,000 for HR Director Recruitment.  Is this the fee being paid to find an HR Director?  If so, it seems awfully high.  If this is the recruitment fee, could staff send a cost justification or breakdown, and a comparison
 to other recruiting fees in the City?
