Dear Council Members,

In response to the Council Agenda Meeting minutes from this morning, a council member raised a question related to the 1000 Rosewood annexation project for review tonight. The question was relative to the specific location of where 9th and Rosewood Avenues are intended to be built per the North Boulder (NoBo) Subcommunity Plan. A detail of the proposed connections can be found in the attached document as well as in the staff memo. As indicated in staff's memo, the NoBo plan contemplates a future fine grained network of gridded streets to increase overall connectivity in North Boulder.

The city's Transportation network plans can be found on the city's web site through the "Map It" program. A link has been provided below:

As shown on the screen below, "Map It" can be selected on the left side of the screen. Once the screen appears, 'Proposed System' can be selected on the right side of the screen and all the proposed streets can be checked.  After zooming to the site location, press 'update map' under the checked items and the proposed streets will appear.

Effectively what appears is the map below, which staff relies on for determining consistency with the NoBo Plan.  Karl Guiler will discuss this in detail as part of the presentation tonight.
