The October 27th email invited employees to submit comments and input about the program that would be shared with City Council. This email served as the official pre-vote notification required by FAMLI and informed employees of the date and time of the public hearing, which will be held by City Council on November 3rd at 6 PM. Three emails from two staff members were received by the deadline for comments on November 2nd at 12 PM.<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> Both employees encourage the city to reconsider declining participation in the FAMLI program, because they feel it would be an added benefit for temporary and seasonal employees.
