What I got from my conversation with the Chief is, no matter what I decide, she will continue to work hard to make community policing safer and more inclusive for all people in Boulder, including BIPOC. </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); display: inline !important; font-size: 12pt;">I am hopeful for the future of police reform in our community because of the words of Chief Maris.
