Consideration of a motion to authorize Nuria Rivera-Vandermyde, the City Manager, to execute documents on behalf of the city to accept financial assistance for the Boulder Municipal Airport through the federal Airport Coronavirus Response Grant Program (ACRGP)<https://boulder.novusagenda.com/AgendaWeb/CoverSheet.aspx?ItemID=4101&MeetingID=678>


The Boulder Municipal Airport is eligible to receive $13,000 through the Airport Coronavirus Response Grant Program that is part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act. The deadline to claim these funds for the airport is August 26, 2021. Expediated Council consideration to accept receiving these funds is necessary because of the short timeline between when the city was notified of grant funds availability and the grant acceptance deadline.

The funds may only be used to reimburse for airport operational and maintenance expenses, and debt service payments. Examples of such eligible expenses could include such things as updating the airport rules and regulations to address operational and maintenance changes to enhance the airport's response to Covid.
