[BoulderCouncilHotline] Broadband in Fort Collins

Council Colleagues:


The Fort Collins mayor and city manager have invited representatives from Boulder to visit them on Tuesday, March 6, to learn more about that city's process in deciding to create a municipal broadband network and presenting it to their voters on the November ballot last year. I will attend that meeting, along with Jane Brautigam and members of the city staff. It would be great if another city council member or two could join us. The meeting on the 6th will be in Fort Collins from noon to 2:00, with a city van leaving Boulder at 10:30 and returning by around 3:00. If you are interested in joining this meeting, please contact Ann Large by the end of next week. Regardless of who attends, council members will receive a report of what is learned on the visit.
