The attachment that I posted had the wrong date in the third amendment.  It should be January 1, 2020.  I have fixed it in the attached version.

Subject: Additional Potential Amendments to the Towing Ordinance

Mary Young asked that I draft some additional amendments for council to consider this evening.  They are as follows:


  1.  Eliminate the new signage requirement for property owners who tow less than 2 vehicles in a year.
  2.  Add a requirement for early compliance whenever a new sign is erected.
  3.  Eliminate the February 1, 2019 new signage requirement and make all changes required by January 1, 2020.

A copy of the proposed amendments is attached.  Copies will also be on the Dias tonight.
