Dear Council Members:

Council expressed an interest in information related to the average bill impact on various rate classes associated with an extension and increase of the Utility Occupation Tax.  The following chart replaces the chart at the bottom of page 296 of the packet for August 15, 2017. The original table contained an error that occurred when the data was transposed to this table format. The original table used data for 2, 3, 4, and 5 year extensions under the labels of 3,4,5, and 6 year extensions. This new table, below, has the correct data and the correct column headings.

The net effect for each of the options for the utility occupation tax is that it will be a lower amount in each of the classifications.
