There has been some concern about having the open house during Thanksgiving week. We are therefore rescheduling it for November 30, 2016 at 6:15 in council chambers.

Subject: Proposed Changes to the Cooperative Housing Ordinance

The city council is scheduled to continue second reading of the cooperative housing ordinance on December 6, 2016. I am attaching an early draft of the ordinance that council will address on that evening. It is important to remember that the council has not yet seen this draft. It reflects only my work in recording changes that council members agreed to on October 11. I have also included an outline of the changes with page and line number references to make them easier to find.

I have scheduled an open house in council chambers on Monday November 21, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. I will be available to listen, answer questions and explain the proposed changes. In addition, I will be meeting with representatives of the Boulder Neighborhood Alliance, the Boulder Community Housing Association and the Sustainable Community Development Clinic at the University of Colorado Law School. Members of these groups are, of course, welcome to attend the open house, but I would appreciate allowing those not represented to have their voices heard then. If there is any other group that would like a separate meeting, please feel free to contact me.
