Xcel sent an email to all its Boulder customers on August 2 that contained half truths that were wholly false. I have written a response to Xcel's claims that can be found here:

Xcel's current campaign exaggerates the risks, understates the benefits and exploits the complexity of the analysis in order to distract the public from focusing on their own best interests in answering the question, "Should Boulder form a Municipal Electric
 Utility?"
