In response to the request for Parks and Recreation expenditures related to Valmont Bike Park and bike use, approximately  $4.1 million can be associated with Valmont Bike Park for land acquisition. An additional $3 -3.5  million has been expended for park design and construction associated with the bike park to date.   Ongoing operational expense for Valmont Bike park is estimated to be a minimum of $ 150,000 annually at this time.
